Japanese Probe pulls up to Asteroid

takes some photos, and looks for a parking space.

In November the probe will attempt to land… fire a projectile into the surface, take off, and catch the dust particles as they escape from the asteroid.

It sounds sort of like when my cat bounds through our neighbours dandelions simultaneously scaring and catching bugs.

Once the probe has caught something.. or perhaps not if unlucky… then it will return to Earth and it’s data and samples will be analyzed.

Who thinks up this STUFF! And how do I get in on it??
